Flight Attendant's Cover of 'Royals' Wins Praise From Lorde

 

This flight attendant knows how to keep people entertained during a flight. Robynn Shayne, who works for American Airlines, recently serenaded passengers with an amazing cover of Lorde's "Royals" while in the air. The performance was recorded by her co-worker Nick Stracener, who later uploaded the video to YouTube. In the one-and-a-half-minute clip, Shayne is seen beautifully singing the hit song while playing her guitar.

The video came with a description by Stacener which read, "On a lovely winter day I came across my coworker Robynn who I noticed was carrying a guitar with her on our trip. I then asked her if she played and she said she loves to play and sing. Then this happened. Let's get this video viral for her and get her a record deal! OR GET HER ON THE ELLEN SHOW!!"

The video, which has been available on the site since November 23, has garnered more than 130,000 views. Many viewers, including Lorde herself, loved Shayne's version of "Royals".

"Robynn, I love you," the New Zealand-born superstar said on Twitter. Shayne later replied, "Love ya back!"
